Registration process
The following guide describes the necessary steps required to register for participation at the Jornadas Chilenas de Computación 2011. The process consists of four main steps: identifying the type of registration suitable for your case; payment of the corresponding registration value, either via deposit or electronic money transfer; registration of personal details through the event's website; and a final confirmation of registration sent by the organising team. Notice that payment NEEDS to be done before completing the registration form in the event's website.
Step 1: Identify the type of registration
All available categories for registration at the event are listed above. From this list of available categories, you need to select the one that best suits you, both in terms of your professional situation (i.e. whether you're a SCCC member, a student or an academic or professional), and the period of time at which you're registering (very early, early or normal). Please notice that final registration costs are listed both in local currency (chilean pesos) and in U.S. dollars.
Step 2: Registration payment
The Universidad de Talca has made available for attendees to the Jornadas Chilenas de la Computación 2011 two bank accounts where deposits and electronic money transfers can be made for the payment of registration costs; one for transactions made in local currency within the country, and one for transactions made in U.S. dollars from abroad. Details for both bank accounts are listed below:
Transactions in local currency:
Deposit or transfer to be made to: Universidad de Talca
Current account nº: 0-074-0007103-3
Rut: 70.885.500-6
Bank: Santander
Transactions in U.S. dollars (made from abroad):
Deposit or transfer to be made to: Universidad de Talca
RUT (National I.D. number): 70.885.500-6
Bank: Santander Chile
Current account Nº: 5070-352738-7
SWIFT code: BSCHCLRM
Address: 1 Sur Nº853, Sucursal Nº026, Talca
Correspondent Bank: WACHOVIA BANK N.A, NEW YORK, USA
Step 3: Register through the website
Once you have made the transaction, you should register at the event through the form made available by the organization. It is extremely important at this point that you attach the deposit or transfer receipt, and that you select the type of certificate you will need: either a simple one (mainly addressed to international attendees) or an invoice (mainly addressed at chilean attendees).
Step 4: Final confirmation
Once the registration details have been received by the organization and the payment has been checked, a final confirmation indicating the successful registration will be sent electronically. Otherwise, detailed instructions will be sent, suited for each particular case and aimed at finishing the registration process successfully.
